Performance and achievements

STROUD VALLEY: Louis and Charlie joining in with the band at their school's end of term barn dance.

The end of the Summer Term saw most pupils putting on a performance for fellow classmates and sometimes parents.

In June the guitarists at Beaudesert perfomed the first ever lunchtime concert in the new Performing Arts block to and packed audience of parents.

Other schools had performances in Assembly time: At Rodborough,  Amberley, Chalford Hill and Bisley guitarists played to their fellow pupils and parents in attendance.

At Chalford pupils played at the school's open evening, whilst at Croft School, Painswick, the recorder and ukulele players performed to the parents on a rare hot summer's evening.

At Eastcombe, the guitar players performed in the village hall at a goodbye party for Mrs Ayling, the retiring head teacher.

The most popular song seems to have been "Budapest".
